Recommended for beginners

It is a form of Hatha Yoga ideal for those who are new to yoga and find it difficult to perform some of the more challenging asanas or postures.

Poses have been structured and categorized in a way that a beginner can progress safely from basic postures to more advanced levels.

In these sessions props (such as belts, pillows, foam blocks…) are employed in order to simplify the practicing of the poses.

These props also help minimize the risks of strain or injury, making the poses simpler for the unexperienced and elder ones.

In this process Iyengar yoga learners gain strength, flexibility and increased sensitivity.

Consists in an energising & detoxifying set of poses (asanas) providing a total mind-body workout.

In every asana the emphasis is laid on a breath-synchronized movement with precise breathing patterns.

This breathing technique is called Ujjayi pranayama, or "the victorious breath" that generates a lot of internal heat and sweating.

Subsequently it purifies and detoxifies the body.

This practice induces to produce valuable hormones and nutrients that are most often massaged back into the body, while the breath ensures efficient circulation of blood.

The result is an enhanced blood circulation, a light and strong body and a peaceful mind.

 "The yoga of awareness".

Kundalini means “coiling” in sanskrit and refers to the energy or life force located at the base of the spine which is depicted as a coiled or sleeping serpent.

The ultimate aim of the Kundalini Yoga training is to arise the sleeping Kundalini energy from its coiled base through the 6 Chakras and penetrate the 7th chakra, or crown.

The Kundalini is to be awakened gradually while it releases tremendous energy which allows a person to realize his or her full potential in life.

The exercises are developed to remove imbalances or blockages and to improve the energy patterns and vibrations of the Chakras through the practice of breathing patterns (Pranayama), postures (asanas) and chanting mantras.

The gradual awakening of the Kundalini helps you to:

  • Become stronger, mentally, spiritually and physically.
  • Achieve a great degree of mental control and clariy.
  • Experience peace and inner joy.
  • Increase awareness of the self and the universe.

Kundalini Yoga is a very powerful tool for personal transformation.
